Royal Canadian Henley Rowing Course

St. Catharines is home to the Henley Rowing Course located on Martindale Pond in the charming waterfront village of Port Dalhousie. Since 1903, major national and international regattas have been hosted here, welcoming athletes and spectators from around the globe.

  • 120 metres wide
  • 2,200 metres of straight length racing spread across 8 lanes
  • Each lane is 13.5 metres wide, with a water depth of 3.5 metres.

Coming August 2024

St. Catharines World Rowing, in partnership with The City of St. Catharines and Rowing Canada Aviron (RCA), is proud to host the 2024 World Rowing Senior, Under 23 and Under 19 Junior Championships. From August 18-25, 2024, the Henley Rowing Course will bring together 2,500 athletes from over 80 countries in what is the biggest and most important World Rowing event of the season.  Visit www.stcrowing2024.com for further event details.
