The Niagara sport community organized the 2022 Canada Games and gained tremendous experience through the hosting of not only the Canada Games but also the extremely successful events leading up to these Games such as the 2018 FIBA U18 Basketball Championship at the Meridian Centre St. Catharines, and the 2019 Canadian Olympic Wrestling Trials at the Niagara Falls Convention Centre. We are currently collaborating with the upcoming 2024 World Rowing Competition at Henley Island, St. Catharines. See Host History for more information.
