Sport Niagara and Ridley College are proud to announce a new strategic partnership designed to strengthen sport development opportunities across Niagara through collaborative leadership in coaching education, officials development, and inclusive sport programming.
Through a newly established three-year partnership framework, the organizations will work together to create innovative pathways that support athletes, coaches, officials, and community sport leaders while advancing Niagara’s position as a leader in sport development and athlete support.
Built upon shared values of leadership, education, and community impact, the partnership will leverage Ridley College’s exceptional facilities and educational environment alongside Sport Niagara’s expertise in sport hosting, athlete development, and regional sport growth initiatives.
The strategic alliance will focus on three key areas:

Coaching Development
Creating sustainable coaching education opportunities, mentorship programs, certification pathways, and leadership initiatives designed to support the next generation of coaches throughout Niagara. -
Referee and Officials Development
Developing new training and certification opportunities while establishing youth-focused pathways that encourage participation and leadership growth in officiating. -
Para Sport and Inclusive Sport Advancement
Expanding adaptive sport opportunities and strengthening Niagara’s leadership role in accessibility, inclusion, and para sport programming.
