The Welland Tennis Club was formed in 1913 on the site of an old brickyard, hence the red clay courts.

Welland Baseball Stadium
Located in the centre of the Niagara Region in Welland, the Welland Baseball Stadium was originally built for the Pittsburgh Pirates minor league team that played at the ballpark from 1989 to 1995.
